Tissue Protein Lysate produced under consistent processing conditions to ensure intact structure and original nature. Total protein is prepared from whole-tissue homogenates and presents a consistent pattern on SDS-PAGE analysis.
Applications
Suitable for use in Electrophoresis, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Enzymatic Activity, Protein-DNA Interaction, Protein-Protein Interaction and Tissue-Specific Expression Identification. Other applications not tested.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Additional Data Supplied: All tissue protein samples are supplied with verified donor age and sex.
Form
Supplied as a frozen liquid in HEPES, pH7.9, MgCl2, KCl, EDTA, sucrose, glycerol, sodium deoxycholate, NP-40 and a cocktail of protease inhibitors.
