Protein G, Native (FITC)
G. streptococcus sp.

Native Protein G is a surface receptor from Streptococcus sp. which binds the Fc portion of immunoglobulins, binding 2 molecules of IgG.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunomicroscopy and FLISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunomicroscopy: 1:500-1:2500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Reconstitution
Use 1ml of ddH2O. For extended storage reconstitute product with sterile 50% glycerol, ddH2O instead of water and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or lower.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Source
