6'-Sialyllactose Sodium Salt
α-NeuNAc-(2→6)-β-D-Gal-(1→4)-D-Glc, 6′-SL; 6′-N-Acetylneuraminyl-lactose sodium salt; sodium (2R,4S,5R,6R)-5-acetamido-4-hydroxy-2-(((2R,3R,4S,5R,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(((2R,3R,4R,5R)-1,2,4,5-tetrahydroxy-6-oxohexan-3-yl)oxy)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)methoxy)-6-((1R,2R)-1,2,3-trihydroxypropyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-carboxylate

Found in milk with immunoprotective effects against pathogens in newborns and aids development and maturation of the immune system and gut microbiota. Suppresses adhesion and infectivity of bacteria and viruses, such as influenza viruses, HIV-1 and rotaviruses. Inhibits binding of cholera toxin.
