Complement Factor D, Recombinant, Rat, aa26-263, His-Tag (CFD, Adipsin C3 Convertase Activator, Endogenous Vascular Elastase, Properdin Factor D)

Factor D cleaves factor B when the latter is complexed with factor C3b, activating the C3bbb complex, which then becomes the C3 convertase of the alternate pathway. Its function is homologous to that of C1s in the classical pathway.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa26-263 from rat Complement Factor D, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in Yeast.
