Solubility
DMSO (Slightly), Methanol (Slightly), Water (Slightly); Soluble in water (100mg/ml). The free base of dopamine is very susceptible to oxidation. Solutions at pH 5.4 to 6.8 have been reported to be stable for 48 hours at 25ºC.
Storage and Stability
Store at 4°C under inert atmosphere. Store away from oxidizing agents. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
