FARS2, Recombinant, Human, aa37-451, His-Tag (dJ520B18.2, FARS1, HSPC320, PheRS)

Phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial (PheRS), also known as FARS2, belongs to the class II aminoacyl- tRNA synthetase family. FARS2 is a mitochondrial matrix protein. Functioning as a monomer, FARS2 catalyzes the ATP-dependent conversion of L-phenylalanine and tRNA (Phe) to L-phenlalanyltRNA (Phe), an event that is crucial for proper translation and protein expression.

Source
Recombinant corresponding to aa37-451 from human FARS2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus expressed in E.coli.
