Location
Peptide near the carboxy terminus of human SOCS1
Applications
Peptide is used for blocking the activity of SOCS1 antibody (S1040-01F). It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western Blot by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37˚C. Buffer is PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Other applications not tested.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
