TARC, Recombinant, Human (Thymus and Activation Regulated Chemokine, CCL17, ABCD-2)
TARC, a CC chemokine, is predominantly produced by dendritic cells in the thymus, and signals through the CCR4 receptor. TARC is chemotactic towards T cells.
Recombinant Human TARC is an 8.0 kDa protein containing 71 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
Biological Activity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cells using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml.
