Members of the CD2 (see MIM 186990) subgroup of the Ig superfamily, such as CD84, have similar patterns of conserved disulfide bonds and function in adhesion interactions between T lymphocytes and accessory cells.

ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen

CD84 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 231-260 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CD84.
