Neutrophils are key components of the inflammatory response and as such contribute to the killing of microorganisms. In addition, recent evidence suggests their involvement in the development of the immune response. The Nimp-R14 mAb displays features of an optimal reagent allowing the selective depletion of mouse neutrophils in vivo.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Neutralization, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 1:100 Immunohistochemistry (frozen/paraffin): 1:200 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Purified mouse BALB/c neutrophils.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 10% glycerol. No preservative added.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from concentrated hybridoma tissue culture supernatant. Endotoxin: ≤0.1EU/ug (LAL test; Lonza)
Specificity
Recognizes mouse neutrophils (surface protein mouse Ly-6G) and may recognize Ly-6Chigh cells (inflammatory monocytes).
