MTBE, methyl-tert-butylether is used in the laboratory as a solvent. In addition it is used as an additive for gasoline. It is found as a contaminant in ground water and as such poses a threat for the production of drinking water.
Applications
The antibody may be used in Affinity Chromatography. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
The titer of the antibody solution is 2000, which means that the antibody should be diluted 2000 times for 50% binding. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
