| ASCT1 is also known as MYS. It is involved in glutamine transport. ASCT1 overexpression is associated with better survival in non-small cell stage I lung carcinomas. It is associated with worse survival in carcinomas of the esophagus. | | | Catalog # | A3780 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 5ug/ml; After deparaffinization and rehydration, tissue sections should be treated with an antigen retrieval method, such as steaming in 10mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 for 30 minutes. Block nonspecific binding with PBS, 2% normal goat serum and 1% BSA. Incubate sections at RT for 2 hours with 5ug/ml of A3780 diluted in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% BSA. | | Immunocytochemistry: HepG2 cells | | Western Blot: 5ug/ml | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
