Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): The epitope that is recognized by this antibody is sensitive to formaldehyde fixation and tissue processing. Acetone fixation is recommended for frozen sections. Not recommmended for use with paraffin sections. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized SD rats were fused with cells of the NSO mouse myeloma cell line.
Recommended Secondary Antibody
I1903-13C: F(ab')2 Goat anti-rat IgG: RPE (mouse adsorbed)
Recommended Negative Control
I1904-82D1: Rat IgG2a Negative Control
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes the mouse CD3 antigen, which is expressed by mature T cells. The antibody may be used to trigger proliferation and cytotoxicity of CD3 positive cells. For optimal staining incubations should be performed at room temperature.
