CD24 is a single chain glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface sialoglycoprotein. Expressed early in B lymphocytes ontogeny and lost at the plasma cell stage. In contrast, CD24 antigen is absent from T lymphocytes, NK cells, monocytes, erythrocytes and platelets.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and studies of peripheral blood B cells. Other applications have not been tested.

Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
