Ceruloplasmin, a ferroxidase enzyme produced in the liver that is a major copper­carrying protein and removes iron from cells. Ceruloplasmin deficiency leads to an abnormal deposition of iron in the brain, pancreas and liver.

Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:10-1:500
ELISA: 1:100-1:5000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
