| Intercellular communication through gap junctions formed by connexin proteins plays an important role in a variety of cellular processes, including homeostasis, morphogenesis, cell differentiation and growth control. Gap junction channels form the basis of intercellular communication in the heart, and in the working myocardium, connexin40 (Cx40) is expressed in the atria and in the conduction system. Connexin 40 is also highly expressed in vascular endothelial cells. | | | Catalog # | C7856-03B | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
