Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, TBS/Tween®-20, 1% normal goat serum. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityRecognizes hiNOS (1137-1153). The reactivity of rhiNOS (Type 2) is ~50%. Does not react to rhnNOS (Type 1) or rheNOS (Type 3). Has been found to stain specifically hiNOS in Western immunoblots of A-172 cells induced to produce hiNOS.
