Applications
Suitable for immunomicroscopy and flow cytometry or FACS analysis. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 1:50 to 1:200 (~1ug will stain 1x10e6 cells) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Rat IgG F(c) fragment
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, BSA, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% glycerol. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE). Absorpance Wavelength: 490nm, 545nm, and 565nm. Emission Wavelength: 580nm.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-phycoerythrin, anti-goat serum, rat IgG, rat IgG F(c) and rat serum. No reaction was observed against anti-pepsin, anti-goat IgG F(c), rat IgG F(ab’)2 or bovine, equine and human serum proteins.
