ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA: Detection by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution), requires a concentration of at least 0.15-0.30ug/ml of antibody. This antigen-affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows detection of 0.20.4ng/well.
Western Blot Use at a concentration of 0.10.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.53.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Reconstitution Lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of 0.2mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 24°C.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 25% glycerol and store at -20°C. May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
