| MIG2 also known as FERMT2 or Kindlin-2, is an ~80kD, 680aa, ubiquitously expressed member of the Fermitin/Kindlin family of cytoplasmic adaptor proteins. MIG2 is essential for B1 and B3 integrin activity due to its interactions with regulatory molecules such as talin and ILK. MIG2 contains two FERM domains aa85-326 and aa524-573 and one pleckstrin homology domain aa373-478. Within the region used as an immunogen, human MIG2 shares 98% aa identity with mouse and rat MIG2. Two isoforms 687aa and 633aa have a 7aa insert after 534aa.
