LSP1 is a 52kD leukocyte-specific protein expressed in B cells, T cells, macrophages and neutrophils (1). The protein binds F-actin through its carboxy-terminal actin-binding repeat and regulates cytoskeletal-related cellular movement such as polarization, chemotaxis and locomotion (24). LSP1 is a phospho-protein and has been identified as a major substrate of MAP kinase and PKC in lymphocytes and neutrophils (57). The phosphorylation is possibly related to its cytoskeletal regulation function.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
