| MUC- 4 is a hetero-dimeric membrane mucin, consisting of an alpha unit (ASGP-1) and a transmembrane subnit ASGP-2. This antibody was raised against the ASGP-2. MUC-4 is implicated in diverse biological functions, including lubrication and protection of epithelial cells.
