Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Western Blot: 1:1000 using whole rat brain homogenate. Immunohistochemistry: 1:5000. Stains PLP-fixed rat brain sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 10mg/ml BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Peptide analog of the carboxyl terminal of the muscarinic M2 receptor covalently attached onto a carrier protein.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile PBS, 10mg/ml BSA.

Serum

Recognizes rat M2 Muscarinic Receptor (457-466) and the reactivity of M2 Muscarinic Receptor is 50%. Does not react to M1 Muscarinic Receptor (451-460), M1 Muscarinic Receptor, M3 Muscarinic Receptor (580-589), M3 Muscarinic Receptor, M4 Muscarinic Receptor (469-478), M4 Muscarinic Receptor, M5 Muscarinic Receptor (519-531) and M5 Muscarinic Receptor. This antiserum is specific for the COOH terminal of the M2 receptor.
