Technical Data
ARHGAP24, CT (ARHGAP24, FILGAP, Rho GTPase-activating protein 24, Filamin-A-associated RhoGAP, RAC1- and CDC42-specific GTPase-activating protein of 72kD, Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 24, RhoGAP of 73kD, Sarcoma antigen NY-SAR-88, p73RhoGAP)
ARHGAPs, such as ARHGAP24, encode negative regulators of Rho GTPases (see ARHA; MIM 165390), which are implicated in actin remodeling, cell polarity, and cell migration (Katoh and Katoh, 2004 [PubMed 15254788]).
