Description: Tie-1 (human 1138aa; mouse 1134aa) is a type 1 membrane receptor protein specifically expressed in developing vascular endothelial cells. Murine and human Ang-1 are 498aa secreted angiogenic proteins. It is only 60% homologous with Ang-2. Ang-1 is the natural ligand for Tie-2 and is primarily expressed in developing endothelial cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 (50-100ng of control peptide/ well) Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 (Expected size of Ang-1 is ~55kD) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Control Peptide: A2293-05: Angiopoietin 1, Control Peptide (Agpt, ang1, Ang1, Ang-1, ANG-1, Angiopoietin-1) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
