BubR1 (BubR1, budding uninhibited by benzimidazoles related 1, Bub1b, budding uninhibited by benzimidazoles 1 homolog beta, MAD3L, mitotic arrest deficient-like 3)
BubR1 is a predicted 1050 amino acid mitotic checkpoint kinase which also controls chromosome segregation. It contains 2 domains: CD1 directs kinetochore localization and binding to Bub3, and CD2 contains the kinase domain. Between CD1 and CD2, the BUB1B protein has a putative nuclear localization signal. BubR1 contains a putative cyclin destruction box that can target proteins for degradation by proteosomes during mitosis.

Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunoprecipitation: 2-5ug/mg
Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
