Cellular Localization: Endoplasmic reticulum
Positive Control: Heat Shocked HeLa Cell Lysate.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Synthetic peptide: EEDEILNRSPRNRKPRRE conjugated to KLH, corresponding to amino acids 575-593 of Human Calnexin.
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Supplied as a liquid (serum) in PBS, containing 50% glycerol aand sodium azide.
Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Rat, bovine, Chicken, Drosophilia melanogaster, Guinea pig, Hamster, Monkey, Pig, Quail, Rabbit and Sheep. Expected to crossreact with Human (100% identity with immunogen), Mouse (100% identity with immunogen), Xenopus laevis (100% identity with immunogen) and canine (100% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
