Catenin, gamma, CT (Catenin (Cadherin-associated Protein) gamma (80kD), CTNNG, ARVD12, Desmoplakin 3, Desmoplakin-3, DP3, Desmoplakin III, Desmoplakin-III, DPIII, Gamma Catenin, Junction Plakoglobin, JUP, PDGB, PKGB)
Description:
JUP is a major cytoplasmic protein which is the only known constituent common to submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. This protein forms distinct complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and is a member of the catenin family since it contains a distinct repeating amino acid motif called the armadillo repeat.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50
Western Blot: 1:1000
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
