Suitable for use in Immunoblot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunoblot Analysis: 0.52ug/ml detects Cbl (120kD) in RIPA lysates from human Jurkat and mouse 3T3 cells. 3T3 cell lysate was resolved by electro-phoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Cbl (1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunoprecipitation: 2ug of a previous lot immunoprecipitated Cbl from 1ug of a mouse 3T3 cell RIPA lysate.
Immunocytochemistry: 510ug/ml of a previous lot showed positive immunostaining for Cbl in 3T3 cells fixed with ice cold methanol/ethanol [1:1] for 1 minute.

Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Positive Control Included:
F4209: 3T3 lysate. Use 20ug per lane for minigels.

Storage and Stability:
Store at 4C for short-term. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
