Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 detects phospho-c-Jun in RIPA lysates from 3T3 cells that had been treated with anisomycin. Untreated and anisomycin treated 3T3 cell lysates were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with antiphospho- c-Jun (1:500 dilution). Proteins were visualized using a rabbit anti-sheep secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.

Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes phospho-c-Jun, Mr 41kD. An unknown protein was also detected, Mr 52kD. Species Crossreactivity: Human and mouse. Predicted to crossreact with rat and bovine based on sequence homology.
