Collaborator of ARF (CARF) |
|
|
Description: CARF (collaborator of ARF) is a component of the ARF-MDM2-p53 pathway. CARF interacts with ARF in the nucleolus accentuating ARF-mediated p53 stabilization and activation. Data also suggests that in the absence of ARF, CARF interacts directly with p53 in the nucleoplasm resulting in a moderate stabilization and activation of p53. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
