Cullin 4 (CUL-4A) |
|
|
Description: Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 4 (CUL 4) serves as a rigid scaffold that organizes the SKP1-F-box protein and RBX1 subunits of SCF. It plays a role in the polyubiquitination of CDT1 in response to radiation-induced DNA damage and may be important for subsequent DNA repair. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:500 Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
