Dectin 2 (CLEC6A, CLECSF10, NKCL)
Dectin-2, also known as CLEC6A, is a type II transmembrane protein belonging to the C-Type lectin superfamily that is expressed on dendritic cells, Langerhans cells, monocytes, B cells, and activated T cells. Dectin-2 contains one carbohydrate recognition domain (CRD). Within the extracellular domain, human Dectin-2 shares 71% amino acid sequence identity with mouse Dectin-2a isoform.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/10e6 cells using human blood-derived monocytes.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes human Dectin 2. In Direct ELISA, no crossreactivity with recombinant mouse Dectin-2 alpha, recombinant human CLEC9A, recombinant human CLEC4D or recombinant human DLEC.
