DDC (Aromatic-L-amino-acid Decarboxylase, AADC, DOPA Decarboxylase, AADC)
DOPA decarboxylase (aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase AADC, DDC) catalyzes the second reaction in the biosynthesis of catecholamines and serotonin. It is also involved in the biosynthesis of trace amines.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:8000
Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml detects an ~50kD band in human Kidney lysates and ~48kD in human brain lysates.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after recipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
