Description:
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoelectrophoresis. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |

Immunogen:
Neutrophil elastase (active-site blocked) prepared from human sputum.
Purity:
Purified by caprylic acid and ammonium sulfate precipitations, and solid -phase adsorption to remove unwanted crossreactivity.
Form
Supplied in 10mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 0.15M sodium chloride, 50% glycerol.
Specificity:
Monospecific when analyzed by immunoelectrophoresis. No reaction was seen with normal human plasma and only one band was observed in plasma to which active-site blocked elastase had been added. Identity was verified using purified elastase.
|
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
