Description: The receptors for the endothelins are found on various tissues including lung and intestine. ETA receptor has been reported in a variety of tissues including placenta, uterus, testis, heart, adrenal gland, lung, kidney, ovary, skin, liver, bladder, large blood vessels, cerebellum, neurons, and meningioma tumor cells. A splice variant has been identified in melanoma (Zhang et al., 1998). ESTs have been isolated from libraries from the above-mentioned tissues. Applications: Suitable for Western Blot, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Suitable for paraffin embedded tissue. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
