FAM3D (Family with Sequence Similarity 3 Member D, EF-7)
Family with sequence similarity 3, member D (FAM3D), also known as EF-7, belongs to the novel cytokine-like family whose members are secreted four-helix bundle proteins. Human FAM3D is abundantly expressed in placenta as a 224 amino acid (aa) residue precursor with a 25aa signal sequence. The aa sequence of mature human FAM3D is 74% identical to that of mouse FAM3D.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human FAM3D is ~50ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human FAM3D is ~13ng/well.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
