Frizzled 1 (FZD1)
Members of the Frizzled family of proteins serve as receptors for the Wnt signaling pathway and are involved in a variety of developmental processes. Frizzled proteins each contain a divergent N-terminal signal peptide, a highly conserved extracellular cysteine-rich domain, a variable-length linker region, a sevenpass transmembrane domain and a variable-length C-terminal tail.

Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit is for recombinant mouse Frizzled-1 is ~5ng/lane and ~25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively.
Flow Cytometry: 0.1mg/ml; Add 10ul to 1-2.5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul.
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant mouse Frizzled-1 is ~10ng/well.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS.
Recognizes mouse Frizzled-1. Detects Frizzled-1 on differentiated embryoid bodies derived from the mouse embryonic cell line D3 and on human HEK293 cells by Flow Cytometry. In Direct ELISA, it shows ~30% crossreactivity with recombinant mouse Frizzled-9. No crossreactivity with recombinant mouse Frizzled-2, -3, -4, -6, -7, -8, recombinant human Frizzled-5. or recombinant human MFRP.
