Technical Data
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: Prepare enough G8125-15 for the days use by diluting 100X with 1% GSPBT. Using silver-intensified immunogold or fluorescence. Samples should be fixed with 0.2%2.5% glutaraldehyde for optimum detection. This antibody has also been used and found to work with a zero-low glutaraldehyde/high paraformaldehyde fixation (4% paraformaldehyde in 0.1M phosphate buffer/3% sucrose fixative). The minimum glutaraldehyde concentration is 0.02%. Performance is good with frozen sections, Vibratome sections and tissue culture formats, when penetrating reagents such as 0.3% Triton X-100 are used.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: We do not recommend adding glycerol as a cryopreservative.

Purified immunoglobulin
Supplied as a liquid in PBS with sterile goat serum containing 0.05% thimerosal as a preservative.
Recognizes Glutathione. The antibody has been calibrated against a spectrum of antigens to assure hapten selectivity and proper affinity. No measurable glutaraldehyde-fixed tissue crossreactivity (<1:1000) against L-alanine, gamma-aminobutyrate, 1-amino-4-guanidobutane (AGB), D/L-arganine, D/L-aspartate, L-citrulline, L-cysteine, D/L-glutamate, D/L-glutamine, glycine, L-lysine, L-ornithine, L-serine, taurine, L-threonine, L-tryptophan, L-tyrosine. Does not discriminate between free GSH and GSSG.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
