Rat GRO-ß (Rat MIP2) promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation. Rat GROß is a 7.9kD protein containing 73 amino acid residues. Source: E. coli Form: Lyophilized protein with no additives. Stability: The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted rat GRO-ß should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Purity: Greater than 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Reconstitution: Lyophilized rat GRO-ß is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 100 ng/ul. This solution can be diluted into water or other buffered solutions or stored at -20°C for future use. Biological Activity: The maximal chemotactic activity of rat GRO-ß on rat neutrophils as assayed in a modified Boyden chamber was achieved at 50ng/ml.
