Technical Data
I1904-83
IgG2, Fc
Description:
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) are antibody molecules. Each IgG is composed of four peptide chains-two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. Other Immunoglobulins may be described in terms of polymers with the IgG structure considered the monomer. IgG constitutes 75% of serum immunoglobulins in humans. IgG molecules are synthesized and secreted by plasma B cells. There are 4 IgG isotypes, IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4. IgG2 makes up 23% of total IgG.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Affinity Chromatography. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
