IFITM3 (Interferon-induced Transmembrane Protein 3, Dispanin Subfamily A Member 2b, DSPA2b, Interferon-inducible Protein 1-8U) |
|
|
Description: FITM3 is a 14.6kD (predicted) member of the CD225 family of proteins. It is expressed on primordial germ cells and select tumor types, and appears to regulate cell migration. Human IFITM3 is a 133aa, two-transmembrene protein that contains an N-terminal aa1-57 and a C-terminal aa108-128 extracellular domain. Over aa3-57, human IFITM3 is 59% and 56% aa identical to bovine and mouse IFITM3, respectively. Over aa3-57 human IFITM3 is 88% identical to human IFITM2. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
