IL-1Ra is the natural antagonist of the pro-inflammatory cytokines Interleukin-1alpha and Interleukin-1 beta. IL-1Ra is produced by a variety of cells including monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils and fibroblasts in response to the binding of various pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Recombinant corresponding to aa26-177 from human 2, fused to 6x His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli.

Suitable for use in Western Blot as a control. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
