Description: Immunohistochemical detection of immunoglobulins is useful in determining the lymphoid origin of tissues and in the assessment of lymphoid proliferations as reactive or malignant. The assessment of light chain status is particularly important in this regard as it may be used to demonstrate the clonal nature of a tumor. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (frozen and formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml. for 30min at RT. Note: Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min., followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
