Description: Reportedly useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single light chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (frozen and formalin/paraffin): 1:400-1:800 for 30 min at RT. Note: Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min., followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
