LATS2 (Large Tumor Suppressor Homolog 2, LATS-2, Kinase Phosphorylated During Mitosis, KPM, Serine/Threonine Protein Kinase kpm, Warts-like Kinase)
Description:
This gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase belonging to the LATS tumor suppressor family. The protein localizes to centrosomes during interphase, and early and late metaphase. It interacts with the centrosomal proteins aurora-A and ajuba and is required for accumulation of gamma-tubulin and spindle formation at the onset of mitosis. It also interacts with a negative regulator of p53 and may function in a positive feedback loop with p53 that responds to cytoskeleton damage. Additionally, it can function as a co-repressor of androgen-responsive gene expression.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Proximity Ligation Assay. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000
Immunoprecipitation: 2-5ug/mg
Proximity Ligation Assay: 1:1000-1:20000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
