Technical Data
Luciferin D-, Firefly, Sodium Salt (4,5-Dihydro-2-(6-hydroxy-2-benzothiazolyl)-4-thiazolecarboxylic acid, D-Luciferin)
Molecular Biology Storage: -20CShipping: RT
Luciferin is the substrate for luciferase and is used in highly sensitive bioluminescence assays for the detection of ATP; the generation of light is directly proportional to the concentration of ATP. Also used in detection of the luciferase marker gene.

Reconstitute with nitrogen purged water.
