Source: Recombinant corresponding to 68aa from mouse Macrophage Derived Chemokine expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD Biological Activity: The biological activity of MDC was determined by measuring its ability to chemoattract total murine T cells. A concentration range of 10-100ng/ml is found to produce significant chemotaxis. MDC is a member of the b chemokine (C-C) family. MDC is produced by macrophages and monocyte-derived dendritic cells, but is not produced by monocytes, NK cells, or cell lines of epithelial, endothelial, or fibroblast origin. Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD |
Purity: ~98% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC) Concentration: Not determined Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O to 0.1-1mg/ml.
