Recombinant mouse MCP-1 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 125aa and having a molecular weight of 13.8kD. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Gln-Pro-Asp-Ala-Val. Contains less than 1% dimers and aggregates.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
