Description: MCP-2 is a CC chemokine which is produced by several cell types including fibroblasts and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. This chemokine is important in eliciting the inflammatory response of blood monocytes.

Recombinant corresponding to 74aa from mouse MCP2 expressed in E. coli.

Biological Activity:
Determined by measuring dose-dependent chemotaxis with human peripheral blood monocytes. A concentration range of 10-100ng/ml produced significant chemotaxis.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with ddH2O, 0.1-1% BSA. Aliquot and store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
